Do you own a female cat?
A Female Cat can produce several litters of unwanted kittens each year. An operation can be performed on your female cat to having kittens. Contrary to the old wives tale, it is neither necessary nor desirable for her to have 'One Litter'. The operation can be carried out on cats aged 2 months and older. Your veterinary surgeon will advise you on your particular pet.
Do you own a male cat?
Full-grown male cats constantly fight and get injured in a way, which will eventually effect their health. Male cats can be neutered by a simple operation. This will prevent them wandering, get rid of the "smell' associated with non-neutered males and they will become more home-loving.
Vaccinations
Kittens
Kittens should be vaccinated against Cat Flu and Feline Enteritis at 8 weeks or older. They should also be treated for worms. These should be followed up by regular booster shots as advised by vetinary clinics.
Cat Carriers
If you own a cat, you should also own a cat-carrier (available in all good pet-shops), in order to carry your pet safely to the vet whenever such visits are necessary. Never travel with an unrestrained cat in a car; they are easily frightened and could cause an accident.
Feral cats
Even if the cat you are feeding is feral or semi-wild, we can arrange neutering for him/her.
Remember if your pet is showing unusual symptoms bring it to your local vet
